    Absolutely hilarious. The nursery rhymes are genius! Seriously funny football references in there. Love Twinkle Twinkle Silly VAR. And the one with Panenka too. So many good ones to be fair. Really great idea for a kids book but it’s a hilarious read for grown up football fans as well to be honest

    This is a great book. I bought it for my friend’s son and he seems to really like it. I read through it myself and got a good laugh. The illustrations are good fun as well. Makes a great gift (if I do say so myself 😂)

Endless possibilities for language development Our 3 and 6 year old sons absolutely loved this book. At their request, we've been reading the book on repeat in this house. The 10 month old is mesmerized by the illustrations!From SPHE to Drama, this book will be a super resource in the classroom. I'm really looking forward to using this book in my Junior Infant classroom. From a teaching perspective, this book is full of opportunity to engage children in learning. The illustrations open the door to conversations based on prediction...talking about what's happening in the rhyme, what might happen next.The book gives children exposure to pattern and number in the Grand Old Coach of York. I'll look forward to using it to explore counting with the children.My boys were blown away by the idea that nursery rhymes familiar to them could have the words changed. They had so much fun coming up with more and more rhyming words to change things up!Keep up the great work Blockie!

Wonderful book! Kids absolutely love it Really thoughtful, clever, witty and novel takes on all time classics. Excellent illustrations too, making it a firm favourite with the kids. This whole series of books is absolutely fantastic!
