Afterschool Art & Drama Class, Junior Infants to 4th Class, 2.45pm – 4.15pm Wednesdays, Apr 15th – May 6th 2026

These afterschool sessions are for pupils of Clarecastle National School and run for 90 minutes each Wednesday.

The programme is designed to develop children’s art skills in line with the Irish Primary School Curriculum, while keeping creativity and enjoyment at the centre. Children will:

• Learn and practice core art techniques such as drawing, painting, construction and design.

• Explore storytelling and imaginative expression through visual projects.

• Gain confidence in their own creative process, guided with structured project ideas and gentle teacher support.

This 4-week block provides a balance of skill-building and self-expression, ensuring children enjoy the playful side of art while also progressing their learning.

All art materials are included, and a cover-up t-shirt is provided to protect school uniforms.
Junior and Senior Infants must be dropped off by a parent/guardian.
